Standard de Liège, FK Dnipro and Valeriy LUCHKEVYCH have reached an agreement: the Ukrainian player signed a contract with the Rouches.

Valeriy, born on 11th January 1996 in Zaporijia, began his professional career with Metalurh Zaporijia before he moved to FK Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in 2013 (68 games/6 goals).

The Ukrainian youth international was part of the 2014-2015 FK Dnipro team which had a very successful campaign in the Europa league and played the final against Sevilla FC.

Olivier RENARD: “Valeriy has just reached the age of 21, yet he has already gained experience in the Ukrainian competition and in Europe. Because he can play both right back and right wing, he will be able to tighten up the competition within the team. He looks forward to start his first experience abroad, meet his new teammates and show his talent in our competition. For sure it’s an important step in his career.”
