Standard de Liège is looking for a Physiotherapist.
The physiotherapy department is looking to recruit a talented and ambitious individual to work as rehabilitation physiotherapist supporting the first team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a rehabilitation service and work within a multi-disciplinary team aiming to maximise peak performance.
The rehabilitation physiotherapist will support the daily operation of the physiotherapy department whilst effectively planning and managing the rehabilitation of injured players. The successful applicant will have a degree in physiotherapy and experience working full time with high level athletes.
Further to professional competencies we are looking for an individual with the right character to fit in with the spirit and culture of our evolving department.
Qualifications required :
- Qualified Physiotherapist.
- Registered with a recognised professional body.
- Has or willing to get professional indemnity insurance.
- Possess a pitch side trauma management qualification.
- Evidence of working with professional athletes for a minimum of 5 years.
- Evidence of high-level rehabilitation planning and execution.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Bilingual: English and French
Desirable candidate criteria
- Previous experience working in professional football.
- Advanced training and education in the fields of sports science, rehabilitation and/or physiotherapy
