Standard de Liège, Waasland-Beveren and Renaud EMOND have reached an agreement: the young Belgian forward has signed a contract for 5 seasons at our club.

Renaud, born on the 5th of December 1991 (23 years old) in Virton, began his professional career at Royal Excelsior Virton in 2010. He played there for 3 seasons (90 matches/44 goals).

In June 2013 he was transferred to Waasland-Beveren, where he became a key attacking player (50 matches/19 goals). Last season he ended third in the ranking of the goalscorers of the Jupiler Pro League with 14 goals.

He will wear number 9.

We're pleased that he accepted this challenge at our club while there were other Belgian clubs as well who were interested in him. He's young, Belgian, he knows the league and he scores easily: 14 goals last season and already 2 this season ! We hope that he'll be settled quickly and that he'll continue scoring goals like he did in the near past !"
